Job Description

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a building-supplies depot in Burgersfort, and nobody minds if it's your first job. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

This post is in Burgersfort (Limpopo). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

The work, day to day

Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

You'll need

Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
South African ID or a valid work permit

Extra points for

Basic computer skills for capturing counts
A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
