Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak)

You'll keep a busy spares and hardware warehouse in Alberton stocked, picked and moving out on time. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a spares and hardware warehouse in Alberton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
