Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak) – Fixed-Term

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at an online grocery fulfilment hub in Kuruman. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at an online grocery fulfilment hub in Kuruman. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
