Warehouse Packer (Seasonal Peak) – Experienced

You'll keep a busy clothing distribution centre in Thohoyandou stocked, picked and moving out on time. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a clothing distribution centre on the Thohoyandou side of Limpopo. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse

• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
