Warranty Clerk (Dealership) – Experienced

You'll be the link between customers and the workshop at the aftermarket spares shop in Richards Bay. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is an aftermarket spares shop on the Richards Bay side of KwaZulu-Natal. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager
• Load bookings in the dealer management system
• Pick, pack and issue parts to technicians against job cards
• Look up part numbers in the electronic parts catalogue using the VIN
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing

• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• Calm and polite with customers, even when they are upset
• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices
• Matric, plus a motor industry background
• Computer literate with a dealer management system or parts software
• Code 08 licence

• Company uniform
• Paid brand training
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings

• If your customer satisfaction scores were good, give the score. It is the number dealers watch most.
