Weekly Wages Clerk (Mining Contractor) – Permanent

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a labour-heavy mining contractor in Harrismith, from clock data to bank file. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll report in Harrismith. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates

• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
