Job Description

This is a floor job at a busy mall coffee shop in Durban Central where your tips follow your service. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Durban Central-based, with most of your time spent at a busy mall coffee shop.

What your day looks like

Restock the bar fridges and help with the weekly stock count.
Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.
Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.

What you need

Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
Quick with basic maths and card machines
