Wine Steward (Fine Dining) – Immediate Start

Good service at a family steakhouse in Richards Bay starts with you: friendly, quick and on top of every order. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Richards Bay. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
• Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
• Split bills, process card payments and handle tip-outs at the end of shift.
• Take orders on the POS tablet and read them back to avoid kitchen mistakes.
• Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
• Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
• Explain specials, allergens and wine pairings in plain words.

• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
• Own transport or a safe way home after late shifts
• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
• Grade 10 or higher; matric is a plus
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays

• You keep your own tips, paid out daily or weekly
• Uniform supplied and laundered
