Workshop Controller (Service Department) – Immediate Start

The workshop runs on good bookings and the right parts. This truck and bus dealership in Tembisa needs you on that side. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a truck and bus dealership in Tembisa. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Order stock and special parts, and follow up on back orders
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager
• Count stock during cycle counts and year-end stocktake
• Book in vehicles, walk around with the customer and note existing damage
• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Look up part numbers in the electronic parts catalogue using the VIN

• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices
• Matric, plus a motor industry background
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role
• Code 08 licence
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems

• Some mechanical training or a trade background
• Experience in a customer satisfaction survey-driven dealership

• Company uniform
• Paid brand training
• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
