Access Control Officer (Grade C)

You'll control who comes in and out of a construction yard in Randburg, and log every visitor properly. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a construction yard in Randburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors

• Physically fit for foot patrols
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends

• Firefighting or evacuation training
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols

• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Stable long-term site contracts
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
