Alarm Monitoring Controller (Night Shift) – Immediate Start

Night or day, a vehicle tracking control centre in Montague Gardens never switches off, and neither does your focus on shift. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll report in Montague Gardens. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date
• Monitor live CCTV feeds and zoom in on suspicious movement
• Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them
• Talk down intruders over on-site speakers when the system allows
• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
• Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians

• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
• Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
• Matric
• Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts

• Speaking more than one local language
• CCTV operator short course
• Experience on a CCTV or alarm monitoring platform

• Shift allowance for nights

• Some companies give a typing and map test. Practise finding streets on a map quickly before the interview.
