Armed Patrol Driver (Suburban Area) – Immediate Start

When a panic button goes off in a farming district in Potchefstroom, you are the one who arrives first. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Potchefstroom; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
• Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
• Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
• Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
• Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
• Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
• Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end

• Calm under pressure and physically fit
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
• PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
• Clean criminal record and no pending cases

• First-aid Level 2 or 3
• Advanced driving course
• Knowledge of the local streets and sectors

• Response vehicle and firearm provided
• Regular refresher shooting practice
• Group life cover through the provident fund
