Assembly Line Operator (Component Plant)

You'll build parts or whole vehicles on a moving line at the automotive component manufacturer in Pretoria East. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The site is in Pretoria East; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Load and unload robotic welding cells safely
• Follow standard work sheets and quality checkpoints at every step
• Record production counts and scrap on the shift board
• Rotate between stations as the team leader plans
• Keep your station clean using 5S rules
• Assemble components at your station within the line cycle time

• Lives close enough to reach the plant on time for every shift
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights
• Able to stand for a full shift and do repeat tasks without losing focus
• Can follow written and visual work instructions
• Grade 12 certificate
• Good eyesight and hand coordination

• NQF 2 in Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly through merSETA
• Forklift licence for material handling
• Basic computer skills

• Shift allowance and paid overtime
