Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Montague Gardens for a courier depot, all day, all over town. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Montague Gardens (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

The work, day to day

Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

You'll need

Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Good sense of direction and map reading
Able to work Saturdays
Polite with customers at the door
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps

Nice if you have

Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Previous courier or last-mile experience
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
