Bar Attendant (Weekend Shift)

This is a floor job at a wine farm restaurant in Epping where your tips follow your service. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is Epping-based, with most of your time spent at a wine farm restaurant.

• Refuse service to anyone under 18 or visibly drunk, as the Liquor Act requires.
• Pull espresso shots and steam milk for flat whites and cappuccinos.
• Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.
• Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
• Set tables, polish cutlery and glasses, and check condiments before doors open.
• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.

• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• At least 6 months of waitering, bar or coffee shop experience
• Quick with basic maths and card machines
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift

• A second language such as isiZulu, isiXhosa or Afrikaans
• Responsible Service of Alcohol training

• You keep your own tips, paid out daily or weekly
• Paid menu and wine tastings so you can sell with confidence
• Uniform supplied and laundered

• Walk in with your CV between 2pm and 4pm when managers have time, not during lunch or dinner service.
