Bilingual Call Centre Agent (Afrikaans/English)

You'll take customer calls and chats at an insurance claims contact centre in Rustenburg, sorting problems on the first contact. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is an insurance claims contact centre on the Rustenburg side of North West. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Log every interaction and outcome in the CRM before taking the next call.
• Process address changes, refunds and cancellations on the billing system.
• Escalate complex complaints to a team leader with clear case notes.
• Meet daily targets for average handle time, quality score and first-call resolution.
• Troubleshoot routers, fibre connections and app logins step by step.

• Matric with a pass in English
• Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens
• You stay calm when a caller is angry
• Clear, neutral spoken English and good typing speed (around 30 wpm)
• Able to pass a voice and accent assessment

• Company transport home after night shifts
• Paid training for 2 to 4 weeks before you go live
• Medical aid option after probation
• Clear promotion path to team leader or quality assessor

• Practise answering "Tell me about a time you helped an unhappy customer" out loud before the voice interview.
• Put any shift work (retail, restaurant, security) on your CV; recruiters want proof you turn up for rotating hours.
