Branch Service Consultant (Insurance Walk-In) – Permanent

This insurance branch in Roodepoort needs someone friendly who can fix account problems while the queue moves. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Roodepoort, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Do SIM swaps and RICA registrations with proper ID checks.
• Log complaints and pass them to the store or branch manager.
• Process returns, exchanges and credit notes under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Track parcels, reissue waybills and arrange redelivery at the counter.
• Call customers when repairs or orders are ready to collect.
• Upsell contract upgrades, accessories or cover when it fits the customer.
• Update customer details and file signed forms for audit.

• Retail hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and month-end
• Retail or customer service experience of at least a year
• Good on a computer and point-of-sale system
• Accurate with cash and paperwork
• Presentable and approachable with all kinds of customers

• A Customer Service NQF certificate
• RICA and cellular product knowledge
• Speaking the main local language of your area
