Job Description

Every wall and slab on this townhouse construction site in Johannesburg CBD needs labourers, and the crew needs one more. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is in Johannesburg CBD (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

What you'll actually do

Clean tools, mixers and wheelbarrows at the end of each day
Pass tools and materials to the plumber or electrician as needed
Set up barriers, cones and signs around open trenches
Carry bricks, blocks and cement bags to where the bricklayers work
Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes

What you need

Prepared to travel between sites in the area
You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
Able to follow instructions from a foreman or artisan
Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather
