Business Studies Lecturer (Private College)

Stand in front of a class of adults at a manufacturing plant training room in Phalaborwa and make the work make sense. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a manufacturing plant training room on the Phalaborwa side of Limpopo.

• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments
• Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports
• Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks

• Good report writing and record keeping
• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Own transport for training at client sites

• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
