A mining skills centre in Polokwane needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Location: Polokwane, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
• Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports
• Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks
• Assess portfolios of evidence and write clear feedback to learners
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings

• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Own transport for training at client sites
• Good report writing and record keeping

• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Travel allowance or company car for site training

• Put your assessor registration number and the SETA it sits with at the top of your CV.
• Show your industry years separately from your training years; providers need both.
