Skills Development Facilitator (Learnerships)

Here your industry experience becomes lessons for the next group of learners, at a corporate training academy in Burgersfort. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a corporate training academy on the Burgersfort side of Limpopo. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments
• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks
• Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
• Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports

• Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Own transport for training at client sites
• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings

• Put your assessor registration number and the SETA it sits with at the top of your CV.
• For TVET posts, attach your teaching qualification too, as colleges score it during shortlisting.
