Job Description

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a wholesale cash-and-carry in Pietermaritzburg, so shoppers find what they came for. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a wholesale cash-and-carry on the Pietermaritzburg side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What your day looks like

Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips

You'll need

Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Neat appearance and punctual
Grade 10 or matric
Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Basic reading and maths for price checks

Helpful, not essential

Some till or cash-handling experience
Being 18 or older for liquor store roles

What you get
