Job Description

You'll take customer calls and chats at an international outsourcing contact centre in Ballito, sorting problems on the first contact. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is in Ballito (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What you'll actually do

Handle callers with UK, US or Australian accents and time zones.
Verify caller identity before sharing any account details, as POPIA requires.
Reply to emails and live chats within the service-level window.
Answer inbound calls within target and greet callers using the approved script.
Process address changes, refunds and cancellations on the billing system.

You'll need

Able to pass a voice and accent assessment
Matric with a pass in English
Clear, neutral spoken English and good typing speed (around 30 wpm)
No criminal record, as most clients run a background check
Open to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends for offshore campaigns

Helpful, not essential

Previous contact centre or retail customer service experience
A Customer Service NQF Level 2 or 4 learnership certificate
Technical know-how on Wi-Fi, fibre or smartphones
