You'll do your articles at a small general practice law firm in Centurion and learn the practice from the ground up. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a small general practice law firm on the Centurion side of Gauteng.

• Prepare trial bundles and discovery affidavits
• Keep matter files updated and diarise court dates and deadlines
• Take instructions from clients and write clear attendance notes
• Issue and serve documents at the magistrate's court and High Court
• Record your time on the practice management system every day

• Proficient in Word, Outlook and legal research databases
• Good legal research and clear written English
• Willing to work late before trials and filing deadlines
• LLB degree from a South African university

• Paid PLT course fees at some firms
• Mentorship from an experienced principal
• Study leave for board exams

• Put your LLB, university and graduation year at the top, and your average mark if it's above 65%.
