CCTV Monitoring Officer (Night Roster)

You'll watch the screens and radios at a vehicle tracking control centre in East London, and send help the moment something is wrong. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll be based at a vehicle tracking control centre in East London. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Hand over open incidents clearly at shift change
• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Dispatch the nearest response vehicle over the radio
• Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date
• Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians
• Talk down intruders over on-site speakers when the system allows
• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams

• Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts
• Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
• No criminal convictions (vetting is done before you start)
• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher

• Experience on a CCTV or alarm monitoring platform
• Call centre work in the past
• Speaking more than one local language

• Training on the monitoring software
• Indoor, air-conditioned work environment
• Path to senior controller or supervisor
• Shift allowance for nights

• Show you can stay alert at night. If you have done night shift before without problems, say so.
