CCTV Monitoring Officer (Night Roster)

From a chair in a vehicle tracking control centre in Mahikeng, you guide officers in the field to where they are needed. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Mahikeng; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Pull and save video footage for incident investigations
• Talk down intruders over on-site speakers when the system allows
• Keep call-out times and client passwords up to date
• Track stolen vehicles on the map and guide recovery teams
• Report camera faults and offline sites to the technicians
• Answer alarm signals and phone clients to verify them

• Good memory for sites, streets and procedures
• PSIRA registration, Grade C or higher
• Able to stay focused through 12-hour day and night shifts
• Clear speaking voice on radio and phone

• Training on the monitoring software
• Path to senior controller or supervisor
• Indoor, air-conditioned work environment
