Job Description

You'll carry passengers safely around Midrand for a mine shift transport service, on time and by the timetable. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a mine shift transport service on the Midrand side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage
Inspect the bus before each trip: tyres, brakes, doors, emergency exits
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Write the trip log with times, kilometres and fuel

You'll need

At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Medically fit
Punctual for very early starts
Patient and friendly with passengers
Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence

Experience on mine or staff transport routes
