Job Description

The road is your office with a coal haulage contractor based in Krugersdorp, and the load gets there because of you. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Krugersdorp. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Drive planned routes and stop only at approved truck stops
Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Deliver to customers and get proof-of-delivery signed and stamped
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date
Do a full pre-trip inspection: tyres, brakes, lights, couplings and fluids

Must-haves

Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
Clean driving record with no serious accidents
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Clean criminal record

Extra points for

Defensive driving course
Experience on a specific trailer type (tanker, tipper, reefer)
