Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a building-supplies merchant in Randburg. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Randburg, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What your day looks like

Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Keep empties and returns separate for credit
Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away

What you need

Friendly and professional with customers
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Honest with cash and customer goods
Clean driving record
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence

Nice if you have

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
Crane or HIAB operator certificate
