Job Description

Customers across Boksburg wait on your truck, so a furniture retailer needs someone reliable behind the wheel. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Boksburg. Relocation is not covered for this one. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

The work, day to day

Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops

Must-haves

Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Honest with cash and customer goods
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Friendly and professional with customers
Clean driving record

Nice if you have

Crane or HIAB operator certificate
Code 14 licence (a step up)
