Job Description

Drive, deliver, get the signature, next stop: this is route work for a waste management contractor in Epping. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is Epping-based, with most of your time spent at a waste management contractor.

What you'll actually do

Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
Check the load against invoices before signing it out
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving

What you need

At least 2 years driving rigid trucks
Clean driving record
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
Good knowledge of roads in and around the city

Nice if you have

Speaking local languages on township routes
Code 14 licence (a step up)
