Job Description

Passengers in Stellenbosch trust a mine shift transport service to get them there safely, and that trust is on your shoulders. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a mine shift transport service on the Stellenbosch side of Western Cape.

What you'll actually do

Drive fixed routes and keep to the timetable
Count passengers and make sure nobody stands beyond the limit
Handle breakdowns calmly and keep passengers safe until help arrives
Give tourists a friendly welcome and help with luggage on charters
Keep the bus clean inside and report any damage

Must-haves

Valid Code 10 or Code 14 licence
Clean driving and criminal record
At least 3 years of bus or taxi driving
Valid PrDP for passengers (P)
Medically fit
Patient and friendly with passengers

Extra points for

First-aid certificate
Tour coach experience with charters
Experience on mine or staff transport routes
