Job Description

Customers across Mthatha wait on your truck, so a beverage wholesaler needs someone reliable behind the wheel. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a beverage wholesaler in Mthatha. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

What you'll actually do

Get signed invoices back to the office at the end of each day
Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading
Report damaged goods or refused deliveries straight away
Operate the truck-mounted crane to offload bricks or pallets
Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving

You'll need

Clean driving record
Friendly and professional with customers
Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
Valid PrDP for goods (G)
At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

Nice if you have

Code 14 licence (a step up)
Experience on a sales-and-delivery route
