Code 10 Tipper Driver (Sand and Stone) – Permanent

You'll run local delivery routes around Midrand for a frozen food distributor, dropping 10 to 20 stops a day. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Midrand, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Plan your drop order with the dispatch clerk each morning
• Check the truck's oil, water, tyres and lights before leaving
• Collect cash or cheques on COD deliveries and bank them correctly
• Deliver to shops, sites and homes on your route
• Fill in the trip sheet with kilometres, fuel and stops
• Manage your assistant on the truck and share the offloading

• Friendly and professional with customers
• Valid Code 10 (C1) licence
• Valid PrDP for goods (G)
• At least 2 years driving rigid trucks

• Code 14 licence (a step up)
• Crane or HIAB operator certificate

• Company-paid PrDP renewals
• Home every night
• Delivery incentive per completed route
• Overtime on month-end and peak days

• Mention cash handling if you have done COD deliveries. Honest cash drivers are what distributors worry about most.
• Name the areas you know well. A driver who already knows the route saves the company money from day one.
