Job Description

Experienced Code 14 drivers are in short supply, and a cold-chain logistics fleet in Bellville is hiring. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a cold-chain logistics fleet in Bellville. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What your day looks like

Keep the cab clean and report defects at the end of each trip
Complete border paperwork at Beitbridge, Lebombo or other posts
Log driving hours and take the required rest breaks
Follow hazchem rules, placards and emergency procedures on tanker loads
Keep the logbook and tachograph or telematics records up to date

What you need

Clean criminal record
Valid Code 14 (EC) licence
Passport for cross-border routes
Valid PrDP (G for goods, D for dangerous goods on tankers)
