Job Description

Every parcel scanned, every drop confirmed: that is the job at a motor spares shop in Kimberley. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Kimberley, Northern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands

Must-haves

Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Good sense of direction and map reading
At least 1 year of driving experience
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Able to work Saturdays
Polite with customers at the door

Helpful, not essential

Previous courier or last-mile experience
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
