Construction General Worker (Building Site)

You'll mix, carry, dig and clean up so the tradespeople on a school building project in Pinetown can keep building. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

• Mix concrete and mortar by hand or with a small mixer
• Help offload deliveries of steel, timber and pipes
• Compact soil and layer bedding sand with a plate compactor
• Carry bricks, blocks and cement bags to where the bricklayers work
• Sign the daily safety talk register before work starts
• Set up barriers, cones and signs around open trenches
• Clear rubble and load it into skips
