Job Description

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a hardware and building store in Durban Central, so shoppers find what they came for. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Durban Central-based, with most of your time spent at a hardware and building store.

What your day looks like

  • Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
  • Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
  • Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
  • Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
  • Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

Must-haves

  • Neat appearance and punctual
  • Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
  • Able to stand and lift cases all shift
  • Basic reading and maths for price checks
  • Polite with customers and happy to help
