Job Description

Build the SQL, models and dashboards that run the weekly meeting at a healthcare administrator in Atlantis. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a healthcare administrator on the Atlantis side of Western Cape. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Mask or remove personal information in data sets under POPIA
Automate weekly reports that used to take hours in Excel
Keep a data dictionary so everyone uses the same definitions
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
Build simple forecasting and segmentation models in Python or R

What you need

Strong SQL, including joins, window functions and CTEs
Careful with sensitive customer data
Advanced Excel
Able to explain what the numbers mean, not just show them

Helpful, not essential

Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or Fabric
Industry knowledge in retail, insurance or credit
