Cyber Security Analyst (SOC, Shifts)

Patch, monitor, back up and harden systems at a managed services provider in Gqeberha. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a managed services provider in Gqeberha. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Manage users, groups and conditional access in Entra ID
• Handle access requests and keep records that support POPIA compliance
• Troubleshoot load-shedding related outages and UPS failures
• Document network diagrams and change records
• Run and test backups, and do regular restore drills

• At least 3 years in systems, network or cloud administration
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall knowledge
• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications
• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts
• Clear change management and documentation habits

• CCNA, Fortinet NSE or MikroTik certification
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or Ansible

• Standby allowance and overtime for maintenance windows
