Cyber Security Analyst (SOC, Shifts)

When the network goes down at this data centre in Klerksdorp, you're the one who brings it back. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a data centre on the Klerksdorp side of North West. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Work with ISPs on link faults and fibre installs
• Review security logs and investigate suspicious sign-ins
• Monitor servers, links and firewalls and act on alerts
• Troubleshoot load-shedding related outages and UPS failures
• Document network diagrams and change records
• Build and maintain virtual machines on Hyper-V, VMware or Azure
• Manage users, groups and conditional access in Entra ID

• Clear change management and documentation habits
• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 skills, or Linux for Linux posts

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
• ISO 27001 audit experience
• Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS Solutions Architect Associate

• Standby allowance and overtime for maintenance windows
