Data Engineer (Azure Data Factory)

A telecoms provider in Kempton Park needs dashboards people trust and numbers that add up. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a telecoms provider on the Kempton Park side of Gauteng. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Write SQL to pull, join and clean data from several sources
• Keep a data dictionary so everyone uses the same definitions
• Mask or remove personal information in data sets under POPIA
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models
• Present findings to managers in plain language with clear charts

• At least 2 years in a data or reporting role (not needed for graduate posts)
• Able to explain what the numbers mean, not just show them
• Degree in statistics, maths, computer science, economics or a related field
• Advanced Excel
• Careful with sensitive customer data
