Dispatch Assistant (Building Materials)

You'll load and offload trucks at a parcel sorting hub in Polokwane so every delivery goes out full and correct. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

Home base is a parcel sorting hub on the Polokwane side of Limpopo.

• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off
• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises

• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• No criminal record
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips

• Basic furniture assembly skills
• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops
• Past work as a driver's assistant

• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
