Job Description

This retail chain region in Potchefstroom needs an HR person who knows labour law and the shop floor. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a retail chain region on the Potchefstroom side of North West. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Run onboarding, contracts and probation reviews for new staff.
Handle grievances with notes, dates and a clear written outcome.
Consult with shop stewards and attend union meetings.
Represent the company at CCMA conciliations and arbitrations.
Update HR policies when labour law changes.
Coordinate training and submit SETA grant claims on time.

What you need

Good report writing and Excel
Confident facilitating hard conversations with managers and unions
Valid driver's licence for multi-site roles
At least 3 years as an HR officer or generalist
CCMA experience, at least at conciliation
