End-User Computing Technician

Tickets come in all day at this hospital group in Pretoria West, and you close them. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The site is in Pretoria West; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
• Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi

• Paid certification exams after probation
• Company laptop and cellphone

• Travel allowance for field technicians

• Be ready for a practical test on a real laptop or a phone troubleshooting role-play.
