Senior Python Developer (Data Platforms) – Permanent

Write clean code, review pull requests and fix what breaks at a bank's digital channels team in Tembisa. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is Tembisa-based, with most of your time spent at a bank's digital channels team. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Design database tables and write efficient SQL queries
• Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language
• Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
• Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
• Write unit and integration tests before you merge

• You can explain technical choices to non-technical people
• Commercial experience in at least one of PHP, C#, Java, Python or JavaScript
• Stable internet and a quiet workspace for remote days
• Experience writing automated tests
