Job Description

Clients sleep better when their tax is sorted, and an import and export trading house in Centurion needs you to sort it. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is in Centurion (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Respond to SARS verification letters and upload documents on time
Keep client tax files complete for five years
Calculate IRP6 provisional tax for individuals and companies
Track filing season deadlines and send reminders to clients
Apply for tax clearance and tax compliance status PINs

What you need

At least 2 years of SARS eFiling experience
Registered tax practitioner with a recognised controlling body such as SAIT or SAIPA
Comfortable handling tax season overtime
Working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and VAT Act

Nice if you have

Experience with trusts, estates and capital gains tax
Tax software experience such as TaxShop or CaseWare
Customs and excise knowledge for import-export clients
