Estate Security Supervisor

A security company in Fourways wants a firm, fair supervisor for its residential estate. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a residential estate on the Fourways side of Gauteng. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent

• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
• Labour relations or basic supervision course
• Mining or hospital security experience

• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Management training for growth to operations manager

• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
