Job Description

A security company in Pretoria West wants a firm, fair supervisor for its residential estate. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a residential estate on the Pretoria West side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Do surprise night visits to check posts
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records

What you need

PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

Nice if you have

Mining or hospital security experience
Labour relations or basic supervision course
