Factory Hand (Bottling Plant)

Good factory hands stay for years, and this snack food factory in Prospecton trains from day one. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at a snack food factory in Prospecton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Help the machine operator clear jams and reload hoppers
• Feed raw material or empty packaging into the machine at the start of the line
• Hand over at shift change with notes on rejects and stoppages
• Wear hairnets, beard covers and gloves in food-safe zones
• Stop the line with the emergency stop if anything jams or looks unsafe

• Medically fit; some food plants ask for a medical check
• Available for rotating day and night shifts
• Basic reading and counting for batch sheets
• You follow hygiene rules without being reminded
• No problem wearing full PPE, including ear protection

• Company transport on some night shifts
• Night-shift allowance on top of basic pay
• Path to machine operator after six months
• Staff shop with discounted factory products

• Do not wear jewellery or long nails to the interview if it is on site. Food factories notice and it counts.
• Mention that you can work rotating shifts right at the top. It is the first thing most factories filter on.
